Byron Moore is expected to return to the Plymouth squad for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Carlisle on Saturday.
The 31-year-old striker missed the last five matches with a hamstring injury he sustained in September.
Plymouth will be without midfielder Danny Mayor after he picked up his fifth booking of the season and serves a one-match suspension.
Conor Grant (thigh), Ryan Taylor and Dom Telford (both hamstring) remain on the long-term injured list.
Nathan Thomas could be pushing for a place in Carlisle’s starting line-up.
The winger returned from illness to play in the second half of his side’s 2-1 win over Blackpool in the Football League Trophy on Tuesday.
Harry McKirdy remains a doubt after he was forced off after 21 minutes on Tuesday with an ankle problem.
Hallam Hope and Nathaniel Knight-Percival also remain doubts for the game after missing training sessions at the beginning of the week.
