Jamie Vardy has backed Rebekah Vardy on Twitter
The Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy spat has taken another twist with Jamie Vardy now providing public backing to his wife.
The Leicester star has made it clear he is in support of Rebekah following the accusations from Coleen yesterday.
Wayne Rooney’s Mrs took to Twitter on Wednesday morning as she accused Rebekah of sharing private information from her private Instagram account.
Coleen claims she planted fake stories on her profile before blocking everyone but Rebekah from seeing them.
Stories were still leaked to The Sun newspaper and Coleen subsequently called her out publicly.
Rebekah responded with a post of her own, tweeting Coleen a message back shortly after which read: "As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this.
"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.
"If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.
"Over the years various people have had access to my insta & just this week I found I was following people I didn't know and have never followed myself.
"I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?

"I liked you a lot Coleen & I'm so upset that you have chosen to do this, especially when I'm heavily pregnant.
"I'm disgusted that I'm even having to deny this. You should have called me the first time this happened."
Jamie Vardy has now liked Rebekah’s post to Coleen on Twitter.
However, the former England striker, who used to be team-mates with Coleen’s husband and Three Lions record goalscorer Wayne, did not go as far as to issue a statement of his own on the situation.

Wayne Rooney has chosen to remain quiet as the spat between the two WAGs unfolds.
Jamie, meanwhile, will be back in action for Leicester after the international break as they host Burnley in the Premier League next Saturday (3pm).
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to be asked about Vardy in the pre-match press conference next week.
And it remains to be seen if Jamie will add anything further to liking Rebekah’s post, with Coleen yet to respond on social media.
