Sergio Ramos Absolutely Nails Joao Felix During Madrid Derby

Sergio Ramos gave Joao Felix a warm welcome to the Madrid derby in typically aggressive style.

The Real Madrid captain wasted no time in clattering Atletico Madrid's phenom, who was making his Madrid derby debut following his summer switch from Benfica.

In just the fifth minute of the game, Ramos nailed Felix who fell to the floor, which didn't go down well with the Spanish defender who gestured him to get up before remonstrating with the referee.

To the surprise of many, Ramos walked away from the foul without a yellow card.

Naturally, Ramos' feisty challenge on Felix got fans talking online.

The points were eventually shared between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid as they drew 0-0 at the Metropolitan Stadium.

Zinedine Zidane's side remain unbeaten in La Liga as they sit at the top of the table with 15 points, one point ahead of their cross-town rivals who have 14 points on the board.
