Struggling Chorley hit back to claim point against Dover

Chris Holroyd’s second-half strike earned struggling Chorley a 1-1 Vanarama National League draw with play-off chasing Dover.
Ricky Modeste opened the scoring with Dover’s first chance in the 19th minute.
Modeste was sent through by a perfect slide-rule pass and he made no mistake in dispatching the ball beyond Billy Crellin.
Chorley levelled after 67 minutes when a corner caused panic in the Dover box and Josh O’Keefe pounced on the loose ball but Lee Worgan turned his shot onto the post before Holroyd tapped home the rebound from close range.
And Chorley almost grabbed a late winner in stoppage time after Adam Blakeman saw his effort from a counter-attack hacked off the line.
