Walsall trio pushing for first home league starts against Newport

Walsall boss Darrell Clarke looks set to give a number of players their first home league starts against Newport on Tuesday.
The Saddlers will aim to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat at Sky Bet League Two opponents Crewe last time out.
And there could be first league starts at the Banks’s Stadium for summer signings Jack Kiersey, Caolan Lavery and Zak Jules.
Clarke, meanwhile, will hope that Danny Guthrie could be available following his recent injury absence.
Newport will be without defender Mickey Demetriou after he was carried off during County’s 1-0 victory over previously-unbeaten Plymouth on Saturday.
Demetriou has suffered a suspected broken leg and looks set for a lengthy lay-off.
Newport manager Michael Flynn has additional fitness concerns, with Scot Bennett and Matty Dolan both doubts for the Walsall clash.
Bennett has a thigh injury and went off at half-time against Plymouth, while Dolan is nursing a hamstring problem suffered during training last week.
