On-loan winger Bolton could miss out for Luton due to calf injury

Luton winger Luke Bolton risks missing out against West Brom due to a calf injury.
The on-loan Manchester City youngster only managed 45 minutes on his Hatters debut against Ipswich in the Carabao Cup, with boss Graeme Jones telling lutontoday.co.uk: “He got a bit of a kick and his calf filled up quite big at half-time, so we had to take him off.”
The likes of Callum McManaman and Martin Cranie – both summer signings – will hope to be recalled for the Sky Bet Championship clash, while Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown could retain a spot in midfield.
Jones knows the Baggies well having worked as Darren Moore’s assistant manager for nine months before the duo were dismissed from the Hawthorns in March.
Current West Brom manager Slaven Bilic will manage Charlie Austin’s fitness carefully after withdrawing the deadline-day capture early during the midweek cup defeat by Millwall.
The Croatian tactician is concerned about the striker’s lack of pre-season training at Southampton and is also wary about throwing Grady Diangana in at the deep end following his loan arrival from West Ham.
The midfielder managed 70 minutes against the Lions while Matheus Pereira was given the final half-hour and could get more time at Luton. Chris Willock is pushing to feature for the first time this season.
Kieran Gibbs is an option but fellow defender Ahmed Hegazi is still a month away from returning from an ankle injury.
