Neymar has told PSG has wants out just two years after arriving in a world-record €222m (£198m) deal.
A return to Barcelona is said to appeal to the Brazilian, but getting a deal over the line will prove tricky for the Spanish giants.
They're already forked out £107m bringing in Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid, and are now being asked for a whopping €300m (£270m) by PSG.
Barcelona's opening offer of a paltry €40m (£36m) plus Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho has been turned down by the mega-rich Paris club, AS report.
They say PSG are determined to recoup as much of the cash they spent on Neymar, and labelled Barca's cash-plus-players offer 'ridiculous'.
Neymar's mega wages of €36m per season - which works out at an eye-watering £625,000-a-week - is also well out of Barcelona's range.
Coutinho and Dembele were signed by the Nou Camp club with the funds made from Neymar's switch to France.
But neither player have impressed in Spain, with Coutinho in particular struggling to impress following his £142m move from Liverpool last year.

PSG sporting director Leonardo admitted earlier this month that the club's marquee player can leave if the price is right.
"It's clear to everyone. But in football, you say one thing one day and another the next. I spoke to him and his entourage. The position is clear for everyone," he said.
"Only one thing is certain today: he is under contract with us for three years. And since we have not received an offer, there is nothing to discuss. We have not received any offers. But we have had, it is true, superficial contact [with Barcelona].

"They said they want to buy him but that we are not selling. It was [Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu] who said that. But we have not seen that Barcelona are truly in a position to buy him. A move of this magnitude is not just a question of emotions. It is a financial question.
"Neymar can leave PSG, if there is an offer which suits everyone. But up to now, we do not know if anyone wants to buy him, or at what price. It will not be done in a day, that's for sure.
"PSG want to count on players who want to be here and build something big. We do not need players who are doing a favour to the club by being here."
