Almagro Vs Atletico Central Cordoba Produced 45 Of The Maddest Seconds Of Football Ever

There's nothing like a mad moment in football when there's a load of flying tackles going in, or a red card being shown or perhaps someone attacking the referee- or why not all three in 45 seconds.

The great thing about football is that at its core it's the same wherever you play and at what level. One ball, two goals, 22 people running around and in the end the Germans win, or something like that.

One of the biggest arguments about having VAR is that it can't be implemented everywhere and so it changes the dynamic of football being the same.

However the best thing is when football is completely different. The English game is different even to the one on the continent and football in Europe looks a hell of a lot different to that in South America.

There's far more passion and danger involved when it comes to the South Americans, which might just be a stereotype you can attribute to the people from that region of the world anyway.

On Sunday Almagro and Atletico Central Cordoba met in the Primera B Nacional play-off and they put together 45 of the most brilliant seconds of football you're likely to see, thanks to that passion:

There's a lot going on here that it could be a series of renaissance paintings. My personal favourite moment is the referee accidentally catching the player with his elbow when sending off the player's teammate, only for the player to go down like he's trying to get the ref sent off.

The first leg had been last Tuesday and finished with Cordoba getting a 2-1 win, with Maximiliano Garcia being sent off for Almagro.

The return fixture saw Cordoba grab another 2-1 win and again Almagro were reduced to 10 with the sending off of Leonardo Costa, after just 30 minutes.

It makes you wonder what the following hour of football was like and how there weren't any more red cards.

The loss for Almagro means that despite finishing fourth they won't be going up whilst sixth placed Cordoba get the chance of being promoted when they face Sarmiento over two legs starting on Saturday.
