Official: Here is Barcelona's new kit for the 2019/20 season

Barcelona have officially presented their new kit for the 2019/20 season, which will not feature vertical stripes for the first time in their history.
Instead, it will have blue and maroon squares as they pay homage to the characteristic blocks of the Eixample district in the city of Barcelona, home to some of the most symbolic buildings designed by Antoni Gaudi.
The club presented the shirt at a private event with a few socios (members) in attendance, before distributing the images to the rest of the world via social media and a press release. The women's team will have the same design.
"The kit is something new and exciting," Gerard Pique said to the club's official media channels.
"It might be different but it is 100 per cent Barcelona, and it is even better that the design represents the bond the club has with the supporters and the people who are driving the city forward."
The strip will be found in different shops from Tuesday, and it's first appearance with the first team will be during the first match of pre-season in Japan. This is a risky design by Barcelona and, perhaps unsurprisingly, it has caused mixed reactions by the club's supporters.
This is not the first time this has happened, though. For their centenary year, their shirt was half blue and the other half maroon.
There were more innovations during the early years of Sandro Rosell's presidency, such as when they decided to replace their blue shorts for red ones, or when they put horizontal stripes on the shirt, rather than vertical.
Another change to the 2019/20 shirt is the location of the Senyera. In previous seasons it was on the back of the neck, but this year it will form part of the V on the front of the neck.
