Ranieri tears up at Roma fans' message of thanks

Roma will have a new coach for the 2019/20 season, but the supporters are grateful for what Claudio Ranieri has done for them.

The Italian returned to the dugout at the Stadio Olimpico midway through the current campaign and fans held up a banner with a message for him during the final match of the Serie A season, a 2-1 victory over Parma.

"In a moment of need you answered and now you receive the homage of your people," the message read.

As his name was chanted, Ranieri teared up on the sidelines.
