Manchester United Target Daniel James Drops Transfer Hint After Deleting Salah Tweet

Daniel James has appeared to drop a hint regarding his transfer to Manchester United.

The Championship starlet, 21, is on the verge of joining United from Swansea City in a deal worth a reported £15 million.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning a major squad overhaul with James set to be his first signing and judging by his social media activity, a switch could be imminent.

After being linked with a move to Old Trafford, United fans scrolled through James' Twitter account and one supporter discovered a pro-Liverpool post.

"Salah is some player," James wrote accompanied with a fire emoji in April 2018 after the Egyptian's stunning performance against AS Roma in the Champions League.

Twitter user @UtdChe quote-Tweeted James' post about Salah and wrote: "You better delete this if you join bro."

James has subsequently removed his post about Salah on Twitter. Needless to say, it got fans talking.

Meanwhile, James has had a brilliant individual campaign for Swansea. He's played 33 league games, weighing in with four goals.

But he made his name in this season's FA Cup. He scored an outrageous solo goal, showcasing his blistering speed.

That's some pace. The kid's rapid.

James to United? Watch this space.
