Inter Milan turn down Higuain

Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain was offered to Inter, only to receive a negative response from the Nerazzurri.

The Argentina international, who is currently on loan at the Blues from Juventus, will see his deal with Chelsea end in June and the Old Lady are already in search of his next potential destination.

Although Inter and Mauro Icardi may part ways this summer, the club's new sports director Giuseppe Marotta is not eager to replace him with the former Real Madrid forward.

Meanwhile, Chelsea retain a purchase option on Higuian, but they are not willing to exercise it.

The 32-year-old's price tag is considered too high by the London club, while the person who vouched for his arrival, Maurizio Sarri, is expected to depart this summer.
