Neil Lennon laughs off Dedryck Boyata transfer rumours
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has rebuffed claims that Dedryck Boyata has agreed a move to Germany.
The Celtic defender is out of contract this summer and is free to negotiate with other clubs.
Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin are rumoured to have already agreed terms with the Belgian meaning his time in Glasgow is nearing its conclusion.
But Lennon revealed he has no knowledge of any such deal being done and he remains positive he can convince Boyata to remain at Parkhead.
"I'm not aware of that (agreement with Hertha), Dedryck was at the game today," said Lennon.
"I wouldn't be surprised if there is interest in him but we are still hopeful that we can persuade him to stay, which would be great for everyone."

Nabil Fekir Liverpool medical claim
Nabil Fekir passed his Liverpool medical before the transfer sensationally collapsed last summer.
That is according to his former agent Jean-Pierre Bernes, who claims Fekir also had pictures taken in a Reds shirt.
"It is not about staying here," Bernes told L'Equipe, when questioned whether his former client will stay at Lyon.
"And we will know maybe the real circumstances that prevented Fekir's move to Liverpool.
"The knee was a part of it, but not only that.
"He had passed a medical, done photos with the Reds shirt..."

Chelsea are looking to replace Gonzalo Higuain with Robert Lewandowski, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is claimed Chelsea have held talks with the Bayern Munich striker's representatives about a potential move.

And the Daily Mirror report that Chelsea's optimism about overturning their transfer ban has motivated their decision to speak to Lewandowski's people.

Man Utd warn Real Madrid off Paul Pogba
Manchester United have a no-nonsense message for Real Madrid and other suitors: Paul Pogba is going nowhere.
Pogba, 26, has two years left on his current contract and is heavily linked to a £155m move to Madrid this summer.
The French World Cup winner set alarm bells ringing when he said a sensational switch to the Bernabeu would be a "dream."
But Old Trafford bosses have decided not to sell Pogba and will remind him in a heart-to-heart showdown summit that he's already playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Everton star Michael Keane on Arsenal
Everton defender Michael Keane insists he is not thinking about transfer talk linking him with a £50m move to Arsenal.
"It's just something you don't really think about to be honest," he said. "I didn't really think about it when I was at Burnley.
"You just have to focus on whoever you are playing for and giving your best every day in every game. That's what I've always done and what I will always do.
"I can only express how happy I am at Everton now and how great the fans have been with me - especially this year - and everyone at the club."
Transfer news LIVE: Rangers are not confident of a permanent deal for Liverpool's Ryan Kent
Rangers unsure of Liverpool Ryan Kent deal
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is not confident of sealing a permanent deal for Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent.
"I think it would unlikely be a permanent move," said Gerrard.
"The numbers being spoken about, I'm out.
"I would be more confident about getting him back on a loan.
"If Liverpool wanted to sell him, that's out of my hands. We'll have to wait and see.
"We have to make sure we have an offer for Ryan.
"Our supporters need to know I'm doing everything I can to make sure he is here next year.
"He is definitely one of the people I want to build the team around."
