Shaquile Coulthirst bags brace as Barnet beat 10-man Eastleigh

Ten-man Eastleigh missed the chance to strengthen their claim on a National League play-off spot after a hot-tempered 3-0 defeat at home to Barnet.
Ben Strevens’ side could have climbed to fifth with a win but were behind after 24 minutes when Shaquile Coulthirst deflected in Callum Reynolds’ shot.
Just before half-time, Danny Hollands was shown a straight red for a heavy challenge on Craig Robson and Eastleigh coach Ross Flitney was then sent to the stands.
Seven minutes into the second half Ephron Mason-Clark headed in Harry Taylor’s half-volley and – when he was fouled by Michael Green – Coulthirst added his second of the game from the penalty spot.
