Elliott Hewitt racing to be fit for Notts County against Port Vale

Notts County will check on Elliott Hewitt ahead of the visit of fellow strugglers Port Vale.
The versatile player is battling to be available following a knee problem and requires a late fitness check.
Boss Neal Ardley has an otherwise full-strength squad to choose from, with veterans Jon Stead and Craig Mackail-Smith set to lead the line.
County are currently bottom of League Two, five points adrift of Vale in 22nd.
The Valiants have slipped to into relegation trouble after a run of just one win in 14 games and have lost their last four matches.
Luke Joyce remains a doubt having missed the last two matches through injury.
Fellow midfielder Manny Oyeleke made his return from a calf injury in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Cheltenham and should be involved again.
Defender Kyle Howkins was on the bench against Cheltenham and could be in line for a first appearance since rejoining on loan from West Brom.
