Tranmere set to name unchanged team for Notts County clash

Tranmere have no fresh selection issues to contend with ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two home clash with Notts County.
Ninth-placed Rovers came through Tuesday’s 2-1 win at Port Vale unscathed.
Centre-back Sid Nelson sat that game out, as he had the 0-0 draw at Cambridge three days earlier after suffering a broken nose the previous weekend against Stevenage and is unlikely to be risked once more.
Club captain Steve McNulty is still sidelined by an Achilles injury.
Notts County’s top goalscorer Jon Stead is poised to return to their starting line-up.
The 35-year-old striker dropped to the bench for the 4-1 home loss to Newport on Tuesday, as did fellow veteran forward Craig Mackail-Smith.
However, Kane Hemmings scored what proved to be a consolation in the Newport defeat and could retain his place in the starting XI, with boss Neal Ardley also hinting that his side have “a few niggles” but did not disclose which players they were.
The Magpies – who are bottom of the table, two points adrift of safety – had won each of their previous two matches.
