Following a private search, the plane that was carrying Emiliano Sala has been found at the bottom of the English Channel.
The Argentine went missing on 21 January as he was travelling from Nantes in France to Cardiff in Wales, after having signed for the Bluebirds just two days before.
On 3 February, the news regarding the discovery of the plane was confirmed by Sala's family, Sky News and Christian Martin, a Fox Sports journalist.
The last contact that the PA 46 Malibu had with the tower of Casquets, located 13 kilometres from Alderney, was at 20:30 on 21 January.

Cardiff had opted to sign Sala for 17 million euros after he scored 12 goals in 19 Ligue 1 matches with Nantes, but the supporters at the Cardiff City Stadium never had a chance to watch the striker, though he will always be remembered.
