Holland strike earns Bromley victory

Jack Holland was the Bromley hero in a battling 1-0 win over Maidenhead at Hayes Lane.
In a clash between two sides scratching for form, Josh Kelly spurned a chance to give the visitors a 20th-minute lead when he failed to convert Adrian Clifton’s nod across the box.
It proved pivotal as Bromley would go on score what would prove to the only goal of the game four minutes before the break, Holland pouncing at the far post following a free-kick routine.
Maidenhead goalkeeper Carl Pentney then had to be alert to keep out a spectacular volley from Luke Coulson, which would have made it 2-0.
In the second half, visiting substitute Reece Cole tested David Gregory with a dipping free-kick, but the Magpies had missed their chance.
