Alefe Santos hoping to start for Yeovil

Forward Alefe Santos will be pushing for a start when Yeovil host Forest Green Rovers in League Two action on Saturday.

The Brazilian returned from a minor injury on Tuesday, coming off the bench in Yeovil’s 3-0 home reverse to Port Vale.

The 23-year-old could now step into the starting line-up as Darren Way looks to push his side back to winning ways.

Defender Shaun Donnellan remains a doubt after recent injury issues.

Liam Shephard is ready to return for Forest Green after shaking off a knee injury.

The 24-year-old full-back is primed for his first league action since FGR’s 2-1 win at Exeter on October 27.

Central defender Lee Collins has also overcome a recent setback and is ready to step back into Rovers’ line-up.

On-loan Ipswich player Ben Morris could continue up front, having netted his first goal for FGR in the 2-1 win at Carlisle on November 24.
