Ross County climbed to second in the Ladbrokes Championship after they beat 10-man Dunfermline 2-1 at Dingwall.
Billy McKay headed in Josh Mullin’s on-target effort in the ninth minute before Dunfermline’s problems worsened when Kallum Higginbotham was shown a straight red card six minutes later.
The midfielder was sent off for an off-the-ball incident with Stelios Demetriou.
The Staggies doubled their lead on the hour mark through Jamie Lindsay, who sidefooted in from six yards.
Dunfermline cut the deficit, though, in the 74th minute thanks to an own goal from substitute Ross Draper.
