Hull defender Jordy De Wijs has been ruled out of Tuesday night’s home game against Leeds.
Dutchman De Wijs sustained an ankle injury during Saturday’s home draw against Middlesbrough and is expected to miss both the visit of Leeds and next weekend’s game at Sheffield United.
Midfielder Dan Batty (knee) is unlikely to feature after missing the last three matches and Evandro remains doubtful with a hamstring problem.
Winger Kamil Grosicki made his first start of the season at the weekend and it remains to be seen if the Poland international will keep his place.
Leeds quartet Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez, Gaetano Berardi and Conor Shaughnessy are all still absent.
Striker Roofe (calf), playmaker Hernandez (hamstring), defender Berardi (knee) and the versatile Shaughnessy (muscle strain) are all expected to return to contention after this month’s international break.
Boss Marcelo Bielsa is set to select from an unchanged squad, with no new injury problems following last week’s draw at Sheffield Wednesday.
Midfielder Adam Forshaw is pushing for his first start of the season having made four substitute appearances this season following ankle trouble.
