Roma rally to force draw with Atalanta

Javier Pastore scored a stunning goal but Roma needed an 82nd-minute equaliser from Kostas Manolas to force a 3-3 draw against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.
Pastore put the hosts into the lead after just two minutes of his home debut with an audacious back-heel.
But Roma went in 3-1 down at the interval thanks to Timothy Castagne’s leveller and a double from Emiliano Rigoni.
However, Alessandro Florenzi pulled one back on the hour mark when he collected Edin Dzeko’s pass and fired home from outside the box.
And Manolas reacted quickest after a free-kick was launched into the penalty area to ensure Roma came away with a point.
Both sides remain unbeaten after two matches of the season with four points each to their name.
Roma’s Holland international midfielder Kevin Strootman was missing from the squad amid reports he is poised to join French club Marseille.
