A late Will De Havilland own goal secured Maidenhead their first win of the season as the Magpies came from behind to beat Maidstone 3-2 at York Road.
The hosts, who went into the contest bottom of the table with one point from five games, took the lead in the second minute through Ryan Upward before Blair Turgott replied with two goals, a low strike in first-half stoppage time and then a 57th-minute penalty.
Adrian Clifton brought things level again in the 76th minute as he collected the ball following a Jordan Wynter error, advanced into the box and fired past Lee Worgan.
After Maidenhead substitute Josh Kelly saw his header land on the top of the Maidstone bar, Alan Devonshire’s men then sealed all three points, with De Havilland diverting a Rene Steer cross into his own net.
