Etuhu set to be fit for Vale clash

Kelvin Etuhu is expected to be fit for Carlisle’s home clash with Port Vale.
The midfielder required stitches in a head injury during the first half of the Cumbrians’ 1-0 win at Cheltenham on Saturday and was later substituted.
New loan signing Ashley Nadesan, back at Carlisle from Fleetwood, made his debut against the Robins and boss John Sheridan was impressed.
“He is a bit short of matches but I thought I’d throw him in and go 4-4-2, trying to be attack-minded, and he didn’t let himself down,” said Sheridan, who worked with the striker at Highbury Stadium. “He’s come off at the end with cramp but one thing I know is he’s going to work his socks off and unrest defenders.”
Manny Oyeleke will miss out for Port Vale after he suffered a hamstring problem in the first half of the weekend’s 1-0 win against Crawley.
Boss Neil Aspin said: “I wouldn’t expect him to be playing this week. We will just have to see how he settles down.”
Cristian Montano is not expected to recover from a back injury in time, so new loan signing Mitchell Clark should once again start at left-back.
Aspin was pleased with the performance of his defence against the Reds, meaning the experienced Leon Legge is likely to keep his place at the expense of Nathan Smith.
