Oscar Gobern and Connor Smith on brink of Yeovil comebacks
Posted Thursday, March 29, 2018 by PA
Oscar Gobern and Connor Smith are close to returning for Yeovil ahead of the visit of Forest Green.
The midfield duo are back in training after three weeks on the sidelines.
The Glovers welcome back four players from international duty: Rhys Browne and Bevis Mugabi represented Antigua & Barbuda and Uganda respectively, while Shaun Donnellan and Corey Whelan were in action for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s.
Dan Alfei, Nathan Smith, Artur Krysiak and James Bailey (all knee) remain sidelined.
Forest Green will check on Farrend Rawson ahead of the trip.
The defender failed a fitness test on a hip injury ahead of last week’s win over Mansfield.
Top scorer Christian Doidge has missed the last four matches with a ligament problem.
Rovers could therefore be unchanged after picking up a first win in five attempts.
