Morecambe vs Colchester United - No new injury concerns for Morecambe
Posted Monday, March 19, 2018 by PA
Morecambe have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday’s Sky Bet League Two home clash with Colchester.
It is thought unlikely that either Kevin Ellison (hamstring), who missed the 2-1 win over Exeter on Saturday, or Steven Old (knee), absent for the last two games, will be ready to make a return to action against the U’s.
Max Muller could come back into the matchday squad having returned from Germany after spending February there due to a family bereavement.
This is the second of three home fixtures in a row for the 18th-placed Shrimps, with Lincoln due to visit the Globe Arena on Saturday.
Colchester are monitoring Brennan Dickenson and Ryan Jackson ahead of the contest.
Winger Dickenson sat out Saturday’s 1-0 home loss to Yeovil because of a quad injury.
And Jackson was also missing, nursing an ankle problem, as Colchester’s winless run extended to a fourth game.
John McGreal’s side are currently 13th in the table.
