Thierry Henry hit out at Alexis Sanchez after Newcastle beat Man Utd
The Red Devils were stunned at St James' Park, with Matt Ritchie netting the winner in the second half.
However, United could have taken the lead moments before, with Sanchez missing a sitter.
The Chile international was played in by Romelu Lukaku and Sanchez rounded Martin Dubravka but the ex-Arsenal star delayed his shot, letting Newcastle defender Florian Lejeune block his effort on goal.
And Henry says he cannot understand why Sanchez didn't shoot sooner to put United ahead.
"I actually don't know (why he didn't shoot)," Henry said on Sky Sports.
"Great pass from Romelu Lukaku, I thought he was very good today.
"And now, go around the ball and shoot. He didn't and he allowed Lejeune to make the recovery there.
"He has a look, I don't know why he doesn't shoot before that.
"But what a recovery from Newcastle and as (Jose) Mourinho said, they did fight like animals.
"But you still had the opportunities to kill that game."
