Nasser Al-Khelaifi could be forced to sell Neymar
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN could be in trouble for their summer transfer activity.
PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is under investigation by police and is facing FIFA bribery allegations surrounding World Cup rights.
He has been charged by police in Switzerland, who have been investigating football's governing body, for bribing individuals to secure the broadcast rights of World Cup tournaments.
The businessman is the head of the Qatari State Investment fund which owns PSG and helped the club broker a deal to bring Neymar to the French capital in a world-record breaking £198million deal in the summer.
But Al-Khelaifi's charges could have huge implications on the Neymar deal.
According to El Gol Digital, the sheikh could face a substantial fine from FIFA that could see PSG forced to sell Neymar.
It is claimed the Brazil international may have to be sold in order to improve relations with FIFA.
The report goes on to say that if Neymar was put up for sale, Real Madrid could be best positioned to make a move.
The 25-year-old has previously been linked with a move to the Bernabeu following a breakdown in trust at Barcelona.
And he reportedly tried to impose a clause in his contract at PSG which would help him secure a move to Real in the future.
