Martial receives Mou backing

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has cooled down speculation that forward Anthony Martial may depart from the Premier League side.
Martial, 21, has been mooted as a potential make weight in the deal for Internazionale winger Ivan Perisic, after falling out of favor within the Red Devils starting XI.
However, the France international forward who joined the English giants from AS Monaco for a reported £58 million deal in total as the most expensive teenage transfer in 2015 – has now received public backing from his head coach.
"I have faith in Anthony," Mourinho told reporters. "Probably the player I was looking at was not a pure winger because I have pure wingers.
"Probably the player that I was looking for [Perisic] is a player that allows me to play with three at the back and play wing backs.
"Because – as a pure attacking player – Anthony is a good player. He is one of the players I believe is going to have a better season this season than the previous season.
"I look at some of my players and I am sure that some players are going to be better. Anthony is that for sure."
