Dunfermline recorded their first victory of the Scottish Championship season in some style as they thrashed Inverness Caledonian Thistle 5-1.
Callum Smith set the tone when he scored just two minutes in, and Lee Ashcroft doubled the lead before the quarter-hour mark.
Iain Vigurs pulled a goal back in the 18th minute but it was only a temporary reprieve for the visitors as they headed to the foot of the table.
Joe Cardle put Dunfermline 3-1 up before the break, and would add the fifth at the death after David Hopkirk also scored.
