Burton Albion FC vs Leeds United - Burton wait on Jon McLaughlin before Leeds game
Posted Friday, April 21, 2017 by PA
Burton goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin is hopeful of shrugging off an arm injury in time to face Leeds.
The 29-year-old suffered a shoulder injury and was forced off in Monday's 2-0 win at fellow Sky Bet Championship strugglers Birmingham.
Stephen Bywater came on at St Andrew's and is in line to deputise again should McLaughlin fail to make it.
Marvin Sordell, who missed the Birmingham trip with a hip injury, remains doubtful for Saturday's game.
Leeds midfielder Ronaldo Vieira is back in contention as Garry Monk's side bid to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Vieira has missed the last two games through illness, but has returned to full training and gives Monk more options in midfield.
Defender Tyler Denton is also available after recovering from a knee injury, but centre-back Liam Cooper remains sidelined as he sits out the fifth game of his six-match ban.
Monk has no new injury concerns, while winger Hadi Sacko and left-back Charlie Taylor are among those pushing for recalls.
