Hibernian FC vs Falkirk - Shinnie hoping Hibernian can return to form

Hibernian midfielder Andrew Shinnie insists they do not take any game lightly.

The William Hill Scottish Cup holders have saved their best form for the knockout tournament in recent weeks to reach the semi-finals.

Their only Ladbrokes Championship win in the last six matches came against Dundee United in a live televised game and they face another high-profile contest on Saturday, when they host second-placed Falkirk, who are looking to cut the gap to four points.

Hibs will need to rise to the occasion again but Shinnie feels there is no difference in their approach.

He told Hibs TV: "We expect to put in performances in every game and in certain games we have struggled a bit. I know that we can do better. It can happen, but we need to try and eradicate them out of our game.

"We're right up for the game and we'll be right up for every game until the end of the season.

"We are never not up for a game. Nobody goes into a game thinking a game is less than any other. Some games are easier to play in and some are a bit more difficult breaking teams down."

Ayr and Dumbarton are both looking to move further away from bottom club St Mirren when they meet at Somerset Park, while Morton aim to keep the pressure on the top two when they host Dunfermline.

Raith Rovers are aiming for a third consecutive home win when they host Queen of the South.
