UEFA sent a team of medics to the Valdebebas training facilities to make sure Real Madrid's player are in compliance with European rules and regulations.
Blood and urine tests were taken to ensure no doping was going on within the Real squad.
Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric were four of the ten players chosen at random for a test.
The last time a surprise test had been conducted was in mid-December right before Los Blancos embarked on their FIFA Club World Cup trip to Japan.
