Schweinsteiger could stay with Man Utd

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been talking about the future of Bastian Schweinsteiger who for most of this season seemed destined to leave Old Trafford after being frozen out of first team action.
United are at home to Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday and the German international could play a part.
"He can start, he can be on the bench. He is an option for us. For many months he wasn't an option."
Does he think the German will leave?
"My approach is that if a player is not playing I cannot stop them. Bastian played some minutes. He wants to stay. He is staying. He is an option. He was selected for Palace. January is a good month (for players to play) with so many matches."
