Leeds United vs Rotherham United - Leeds defensive duo poised to return against Rotherham

Posted Monday, January 02, 2017 by PA

Leeds defenders Charlie Taylor and Kyle Bartley are hoping to return to contention for the home game against Rotherham.

Left-back Taylor has missed the last two games due to an Achilles injury, while a minor knee problem ruled centre-half Bartley out of Thursday's draw at Aston Villa.

Midfielder Eunan O'Kane has returned to training after being sidelined throughout December by a groin injury, but is unlikely to feature.

Leading goalscorer Chris Wood and Pablo Hernandez are both pushing for recalls as Garry Monk's side bid to extend their unbeaten league run to five matches.

Rotherham could welcome Kelvin Wilson back into the squad for the trip to Elland Road.

The defender has not appeared since mid-October due to a leg injury but is now back in full training.

Utility man Greg Halford is pushing for a start after coming off the bench in the 2-1 home defeat against Burton on Thursday, as is Kirk Broadfoot who has overcome a troublesome back injury.

Goalkeeper Lee Camp and Jonson Clarke-Harris (both knee) are long-term absentees for the Millers.
