Midfielder Oscar Threlkeld could miss Plymouth's home Sky Bet League Two clash with Portsmouth with knee trouble.

Threlkeld missed last weekend's 2-1 win at Stevenage and remains a doubt for Portsmouth's trip to Home Park.

Loan striker Paul-Arnold Garita will miss out after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring complaint.

Striker Ryan Brunt remains absent after knee surgery while left-back Gary Sawyer has a stomach muscle problem

Portsmouth boss Paul Cook has no fresh injury worries ahead of the testing visit to the league leaders.

Amine Linganzi is in line to retain his place as a holding midfielder following his full debut in the 1-0 win at Leyton Orient last weekend.

Noel Hunt remains sidelined with the groin complaint that has seen him miss the last five matches.

Defenders Adam Buxton (ankle) and Drew Talbot (hamstring) will continue to miss out as well.
