Blackburn Rovers vs Huddersfield Town - Blackburn hopeful over Danny Graham fitness

Posted Friday, April 15, 2016 by PA

Blackburn are hopeful Danny Graham can shake off a hamstring problem to face Huddersfield.

The Sunderland loanee came off 15 minutes into the 0-0 draw with Wolves having felt tightness in the area but Paul Lambert is confident he has done no long-term damage.

Corry Evans (groin) and Hope Akpan (hip) have trained this week and could return to contention to bolster Rovers' midfield options, while Jason Lowe (foot) made his first start since August last weekend.

Defender Tommy Spurr will definitely miss out with an Achilles problem.

Huddersfield could have Kyle Dempsey and Jonathan Hogg back in their matchday XI at Ewood Park.

The midfielders have been nearing readiness to return after spells on the sidelines with calf and knee problems respectively.

With James Husband having now gone back to Middlesbrough following the completion of his loan spell with the Terriers, Jason Davidson is set to come into the team this weekend as his replacement at left-back.

Goalkeeper Joe Murphy remains sidelined by a shoulder issue.
