Scunthorpe United vs Doncaster Rovers - Dominic Vose in line for Scunthorpe debut
Posted Friday, February 05, 2016 by PA
Scunthorpe's new signing Dominic Vose is expected to be included in the squad for the home game against Doncaster.
Forward Vose signed from Wrexham for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day and is hoping to make his debut.
Caretaker managers Andy Dawson and Nick Daws have guided the Iron to two straight wins and are unlikely to make too many changes, while Gary McSheffrey is pushing for a recall having stepped off the bench in last week's win at Coventry after a knee injury.
Kevin van Veen has joined Dutch side Cambuur on loan and fellow striker Darius Henderson this week left the club by mutual consent.
Doncaster defender Andy Butler will be fit to face his former club.
The centre-half has been absent for the last three games with a groin injury but returns to contention for the M18 derby.
Cameron Stewart (neck) is in contention after coming through an under-21s game in the week while Nathan Tyson is still a doubt.
Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann is unlikely to be risked as he battles a shoulder injury, while Conor Grant's rib injury will keep him out.
