Alloa Athletic vs Greenock Morton - Gallagher poised for Alloa debut but crocked Chopra misses out

Alloa have signed former Hearts goalkeeper Scott Gallagher and he will make his debut in the home game against Morton.

Dougie Hill has recovered from the knock he sustained in Tuesday night's 1-0 win at Raith but a lack of recent game time will see the fit-again Jason Marr, Graeme Holmes and Scott Hynd miss out, while Michael Chopra (ankle) is also out.

Manager Jack Ross said: "The belief that we can climb the table is growing and hopefully it will grow further with a good performance against Morton.

"They're a good side, however if we show the same spirit we showed at Kirkcaldy we have a chance."

Morton hope to have Stefan McCluskey and Bobby Barr available after injury with Jon Scullion also returning following illness.

Knee injuries keep Frank McKeown and Peter MacDonald away from the action with Michael Tidser still sidelined with a hip problem and Ross Forbes doubtful due to illness.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "I watched Alloa at Raith and there is a lot of spirit in their team and we need to be ready for that.

"We had to dig out a result at Livingston last weekend in a very tight game and I reckon that we will need a similar performance in this game."
