Getafe 0 - 0 Deportivo La Coruna: German Lux helps earn Deportivo goalless draw at Getafe

A series of important saves by goalkeeper German Lux helped Deportivo earn a goalless Primera Division draw at Getafe and preserve their 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
The hosts dominated the first half but it ended goalless due to the quick reactions of the Argentine custodian, and although Depor reasserted themselves after the break, neither side was able to find the elusive goal.
Depor remain sixth in the La Liga table and have not lost a league game since 24 October, while Getafe climb above Real Sociedad to 14th place thanks to the point and head into 2016 three points above the drop zone.
Lux had to be on the alert as early as the second minute, when Pablo Sarabia let fly from the edge of the area, and then made a spectacular save to deny Sunderland loanee Santiago Vergini from inside the area.
But his most impressive intervention came just after the half-hour mark, punching away a shot from Sarabia and rising immediately to keep out the rebound from Damian Suarez.
