Cowdenbeath vs Albion Rovers FC - Cowdenbeath trio still sidelined for Albion's visit
Posted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 by PA
Cowdenbeath remain without Jack Beaumont, Kyle Miller and Lewis Milne for their Ladbrokes League One clash against Albion.
Beaumont and Miller are sidelined with foot injuries while Milne, who has not played since August, is still troubled by a knee injury.
Blue Brazil manager Colin Nish is looking for more of the same on the back of last weekend's 3-0 victory against Airdrie.
He said: "That win was a really good one as we adapted our game to the conditions really well. We will need to be prepared to change things around against an Albion Rovers side that are very effective at getting dug into games and giving their opponents very few opportunities."
Albion will travel to Central Park with a full squad if Andrew Barrowman passes a fitness test.
Player-manager Darren Young is determined for his side to consolidate their place in the top four by stretching their unbeaten league run to five games.
Young said: "Cowdenbeath have been strong at home all season but we know that we could have won at their place earlier in the season if we had taken our chances.
"Whatever happens over the next week we will end 2015 in the top four and whilst that is good achievement I want us to remain there as long as possible. Winning this game would help do that."
