Rotherham will be able to call on defenders Stephen Kelly and Farrend Rawson for the Yorkshire derby with Hull.

Kelly has missed the last three games with a calf injury while Rawson has been struggling with a pubic bone injury.

Boss Neil Redfearn is hopeful striker Leon Best will be fit after a groin injury and the former Newcastle man will go straight into the starting line-up if he does make it.

Frazer Richardson is the only other absentee for the Millers as he battles illness.

Hull striker Chuba Akpom will be hoping to keep his place in the side after throwing his gloves at the dugout when substituted during the midweek home win against Reading.

It remains to be seen if the Arsenal loanee is involved at New York Stadium as boss Steve Bruce later said: "I will deal with it in a way I think I should."

Skipper Michael Dawson (knee) is out until the new year and Alex Bruce (back) is still struggling so Harry Maguire will continue alongside Curtis Davies in central defence.

Winger Robert Snodgrass (knee) stepped off the bench again against Reading and is pushing for his first start of the season.
