Plymouth vs Exeter - Plymouth sweating on key trio for Devon derby

Plymouth are hopeful three key players will be fit ahead of Saturday's Devon derby with Exeter.

Manager Derek Adams is awaiting news on the availability of goalkeeper Luke McCormick, midfielder Hiram Boateng and striker Reuben Reid.

Adams has signed Christian Walton on loan from Brighton to help with his goalkeeping injury problems and remains concerned about McCormick's fitness.

He said: "Luke is progressing well and we are hopeful that's he not out for too long. We are not sure yet about him for the Exeter game."

Exeter are ready to travel to the top-of-the-league side having not won in three games.

Four City players have resumed full training and hope to be in contention for a starting place for the derby.

Defenders Christian Ribeiro and Craig Woodman are back alongside winger Lee Holmes and captain Matt Oakley.
