Striker Michael Chopra has shaken off a knock and is ready to help in Alloa's attempt to climb further clear of the bottom of the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship table against Raith.

Missing from Danny Lennon's line-up will be new signing Michael Doyle with the Indodrill Stadium manager keen for the full-back to get more match practice under his belt following four months out with a knee injury.

Lennon said: "We went to St Mirren in our last game and it turned into a good day as we played well, came from behind to draw and moved off bottom spot. We will be looking to build on that against a Raith team who have started the season strongly."

Raith boss Ray McKinnon is again without the injured Craig Barr (groin), Ross Callachan (shoulder) and Lewis Vaughan (knee).

However, former Scotland midfielder Scott Robertson is in line for his first start since joining the club.

McKinnon said: "We went into the international break on the back of an injury-time win over Morton and second in the table, so were able to re-charge our batteries in a positive environment.

"Alloa have got good players in their squad and they have given both Falkirk and St Mirren hard games recently. This is a tough game, but it is a winnable one if we go there and play like we can."
