Queens Park Rangers vs Nottingham Forest preview - Gabrielle Angela could be set for QPR debut against Nottingham Forest

Gabriele Angella could be handed his QPR debut when they host Nottingham Forest.

The former Italy Under-21 defender arrived at Loftus Road on a season-long loan from Watford on transfer deadline day.

Rangers could also add Yun Suk-young to their squad for the first time this season after the South Korean left-back recovered from a knee injury.

But winger Jamie Mackie will miss the visit of his former club unless he can shake off a groin injury in time.

It will be a much-changed Forest squad that travels to west London.

Leading scorer Michail Antonio was sold to West Ham on transfer deadline day but Reds boss Dougie Freedman added loan signings Jonny Williams, Chris O'Grady, Ryan Mendes and Nelson Oliveira to his ranks.

Mendes could fill the void left by Antonio on the wing while O'Grady and Oliveira will challenge for the striker positions. Williams is not fully fit following a long-standing groin problem but the midfielder may be on the bench.

Elsewhere, forward Jamie Ward should return from a hamstring injury and midfielder Andy Reid is now very close to making his comeback from six months of groin issues.
