Jayden Stockley's late header completed a remarkable turnaround for 10-man Portsmouth, as they came from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Morecambe.

Three goals inside the first half from Morecambe plus a second-half red card looked to be sending Paul Cook to his first defeat as Portsmouth boss, only for a superb second-half display to salvage a draw.

Morecambe were ahead inside fifteen minutes. A good run from Tom Barkhuizen left him one-on-one with keeper Brian Murphy, who then saw the striker coolly slot the ball into the far corner.

The lead was doubled mid-way through the half when an unmarked Alan Goodall nodded home a Jamie Devitt corner, and the midfielder turned provider again as his cross found Andy Fleming who headed home with 10 minutes remaining of the first period.

Pompey pulled a goal back just shy of half-time through a Gary Roberts free-kick, before for the midfielder to grab his and Pompey's second on 65 minutes.

Their task was made harder with 20 minutes left, when Enda Stevens was show a red card after a second bookable offence, but they battled until the final stages and grabbed a deserved last-minute point through substitute Stockley's header.
