Greenock Morton 3 : 2 Stenhousemuir - Morton leave it late

Posted Sunday, April 12, 2015 by PA

A remarkable second-half comeback sealed a dramatic 3-2 victory for Morton over struggling Stenhousemuir.

The visitors had taken a two-goal lead through Ross Meechan and Paul McMullan, but three goals in the final 15 minutes snatched the win for Morton.

Greg Fleming had frustrated the hosts in the Stenny goal, but Peter MacDonald started the comeback in the 78th minute with a good finish following Lee Kilday's cross.

Declan McManus pulled the sides level as Morton piled the pressure on, knocking the ball home from a corner.

Fleming again looked like he would spoil the party but there was time for Stefan McCluskey to head in from six yards in the 90th minute.
