Walsall vs Notts County preview - Bradshaw blow for Saddlers

Posted Thursday, April 02, 2015 by PA

Tom Bradshaw is out of Walsall's Easter fixtures, starting with Good Friday's visit of Notts County.

The 16-goal top scorer is struggling with a hamstring problem which forced him out of last week's 1-0 defeat to Chesterfield and the club are targeting a return against Fleetwood on April 11.

Romaine Sawyers is back, though, after being on international duty with St Kitts and Nevis last week.

Rico Henry has returned to full training after a dislocated shoulder which had sidelined the left-back since February.

Roy Carroll and Paddy McCourt return to the Notts squad following international duty with Northern Ireland.

Carroll will replace Kevin Pilkington in goal but it remains to be seen whether winger McCourt, on loan from Brighton, will be restored to the starting line-up by the Magpies' management team.

Paul Hart and Mick Halsall drew their first game in charge against Scunthorpe last weekend and might be tempted by the continuity of an unchanged side.

Ronan Murray, Curtis Thompson and Taylor McKenzie are all set to miss out with injury for Notts, who go into the game in the relegation zone after Leyton Orient won at Coventry on Wednesday night.
