Italian giants Roma and Inter Milan are locked in a tussle to land unhappy Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski.
World Cup winner Podolski, 29, is ready to quit the Gunners this transfer window after being largely ignored by Arsene Wenger this season.
Roma have set their sights on a loan deal for the Germany ace as cover for former Emirates star Gervinho, who will be on international duty with Ivory Coast at the African Nations Cup next month.

But Arsenal prefer a permanent deal for the £90,000-a-week frontman.
Milan boss Roberto Mancini is in a position to offer Podolski a two-year contract to switch to the San Siro.
Galatasaray want to hijack Podolski's move to Italy but he isn't keen on playing in Turkey.
