Michael Owen didn’t mince words tonight as he made a withering assessment of three of the traditional top clubs in England on new BT Sport show Football Tonight.
Interestingly, Owen has played for two of the three clubs, calling Manchester United and Liverpool poor while also slapping Arsenal with the same insult.
The ex-striker was saying that he thinks there’s an opportunity for a dark horse to emerge while these teams are in such a bad way. The performances of Southampton and West Ham this season add to the belief that there might be a shift in power by the end of the season.
